Hydro Excavation Services
Hydro Excavation for South Central PA from JG Environmental
Hydro excavation uses pressurized water and a vacuum processes to safely and precisely excavate and remove soil. As the soil becomes wet around pipes or buried lines, an industrial vacuum removes the soil. The hydro excavation process greatly reduces the chance of damage to underground utilities.
October 2014, we added this 2015 GapVax HV-56 Industrial Vacuum Loader to our Fleet. With a 3,000 gallon dump body on a Peterbilt 367 chassis, it is powered by a 485 hp Cummins ISX Engine with a 10 Speed Eaton Fuller Transmission. This powerful SuperVac truck is equipped with a 5,300 CFM, 27” Hg Vacuum Blower with Wet/Dry Filtration, and 6 Cyclones. For ease and efficiency of hydro-excavation it carries an 8” Hydraulic Telescopic Style Boom and a 9-19 GPM @2,900 PSI high pressure water pump with a 400,000 BTU Hotsy Water Heater System that has a 1,000 gallon fresh water capacity.
